The option to automatically put selected headers to any file uploaded is coming in the next release. Perhaps we will make it v2.8. I will post a comment when this release is out.

I am also wishing for the ability to set a default header to be applied automatically to all files I upload. For example, i have a bucket that is only for static images that should always have a long max-age cache control header. I add files manually as I develop the webpages, and I have to manually set the header for each file during upload. It only takes a few seconds I know, but it would take no seconds to just drag/drop and be done. ;)

Hi, Sacha's comment about inheriting http header properties is a feature I would find valuable. i.e. if I set http headers at a directory level, all existing and new files would inherit these header properties which are set on the directory level.

Is this in the pipeline?

I am encoding video to a specific directory in a bucket and want them to all have a content-disposition of attachment to force download.

Note that this feature doesn't currently work - as mentioned in the forums. Applying a given header to multiple files will mess the content-type entry randomly, hence creating an interesting mess :)

Wouldn't it be easier also to have a way to set "default" http headers per bucket so that each new file added there automagically inherits those headers?
