I have downloaded the PEM file from my amazon account. The PEM file is supported by cloudberry since, it is non-encrypted ones and has key enclosed in

-----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY-----

-----END PUBLIC KEY-----

But when am trying to upload it in cloudberry, its saying unknown PEM format.

If I make a distribution private, will it automatically make all objects in that distribution private? even if my ACL is set to public on S3?

I only want some of the objects to be private, and some public, is this possible?

It gives instruction on how to use OpenSSL to directly convert the Amazon generated PEM into a CloudBerry supported PKCS#8 non-encrypted key.

Very nice instruction in this article. I had very little experience with both CloudBerry and Amazon CloudFront and was able to get CloudFront Privacy working in no time.

This does not work as you explained beacause at aws. amazon you do not use the x.509 generated pem key but the specific key pair generated pem. This pem fie is not accepted by Cloudberry. Cloudberry only accepts the x.509 PEM file. This does not match with the public key from the Cloudfront Key Pair.
