How to download files from Private Content Distributions with CloudBerry Explorer

As always we are adding features that our customers are requesting.  In this release we are introducing an option to download data using the Private Content feature.  This feature is useful if you want to distribute data securely across geographically distributed offices and can significantly increase the download performance.

SCENARIO #1 – You are a trusted signer

1.       In CloudBerry Explorer choose a bucket with a CloudFront distribution

2.       Right click on the bucket, choose CloudFront | CloudFront Download Options

5.       Select “Policy signing required” option. You have to specify your private key pair; it is required to generate signed URLs to access private CloudFront content for downloading it from the Amazon S3 storage.

Note: We automatically detect Key pair ID from the Private key file name.
