CloudBerry Explorer supports Amazon S3 large objects

We are excited about Amazon S3 team removing the restriction for the object size. No longer you are limited to the 5GB objects and you don't have to break down larger files into smaller parts to be able to upload and storage them. We are pleased to announce that CloudBerry Explorer PRO has a full support for Large Objects.


Note, that this functionality comes as a part of Multipart upload support. You can't upload the objects larger than 5GB using the regular upload option. To find out how to turn on Multipart upload check out our previous blog post.

We are also working hard on adding Multipart Upload support to our CloudBerry Backup product line this year.  It means that you will soon be able to keep your data in the open data format, transfer the data reliably in regardless of the size and access it with any other tools.
