How to free up CloudBerry Lab product license

Note: this post applies to CloudBerry Explorer 2.4.1, CloudBerry Backup 1.7 and later.

As always we are adding features that our customers are requesting.  One of the pain points our customers have been complaining about is a requirement to contact CloudBerry Lab support in order to free up the license so that the product could be reinstalled on another computer.
With the newer release of CloudBerry Explorer and CloudBerry Backup come with an option to free up the license. To do that, go to Help-> Release License menu.

Confirm your choice in the dialog box.
After the license is reset you can’t use the product any more.  You can, but you should enter the license again. Anyway you can now install the product on another computer and activate the license again.  We hope this small enhancement will make your experience with CloudBerry Lab products a little easier.

What if I have CloudBerry Backup for WHS?
This is a special note for WHS users.  To free up the license on WHS go to Settings and then CloudBerry Backup. Click release license as shown on the screen below.

As always we would be happy to hear your feedback and you are welcome to post a comment.
