How to generate CloudFront HTTPS URLs with CloudBerry S3 Explorer

Note: this post applies to CloudBerry Explorer 2.2 and later.

Since introduction of CloudFront, one of the most common requests that they’ve heard has been for support for HTTPS requests. This feature has been just added to the service and you can read official announcement.

Newer version of CloudBerry Explorer allows configuring distributions to serve content only using HTTPS and generating secure CloudFront URLs.

To configure a distribution to accept only HTTPS requests, go to Distribution Properties, General tab.

The WebURL dialog has also been extended to generate HTTPS URLs for CloudFront distributions.
